Our Vision
SigTrent Games represents a relationship between game creators and fans. The creators work earnestly to create great game products to entertain and delight the fans. The fans support the creators with their purchases and by bringing in new fans. Open and earnest communication is the key to building this mutually beneficial relationship.
Current Strategy
We are building this company using a grassroots strategy with each product feeding into the next step up the ladder of production complexity. We are trying to lay a foundation that allows for faster and higher quality production with each step forward.
We are using our expertise in the Everyday Heroes system to create products supporting its fans and finding new fans for the game.
This Site
This site is a kind of headquarters for SigTrent Games and for the gamer, Sigfried Trent. The main features here are the Store, where you can purchase and download both SigTrent Games offerings and other work from Sigfried’s past efforts. The Blog shares news about SigTrent Games and various essays about gaming. Finally, this site is also a portfolio of my professional and amateur work.

Sigfried Trent
I’m first and foremost a gamer, someone who has loved playing games since childhood. Games are, and will always be, a big part of my life. I am currently best known as the lead designer of Everyday Heroes and many of its supplements. Its success has been a real dream come true for me.
I started gaming by playing checkers with my father. I grew up alongside the growth of the first video games and tabletop roleplaying games. Within gaming, storytelling and strategy are my twin callings. As those are the two pillars that RPGs stand on as a genre, it has always been my chief passion. Beyond playing games, I’ve always enjoyed creating new content for games I play and making my own games as well.
In 2000 I took my first steps to being a professional game designer by joining and then managing the Netbook of Feats, where we helped new authors get published for the first time under the OGL. Later I worked with Kobold Press to create the Advanced Feats series for Pathfinder. In 2022 I got the opportunity to work full time as a game designer to create Everyday Heroes for Evil Genius Games. It’s been incredible seeing my work on shelves at game stores, playing with fans at conventions, and hearing from folks that have fun with my game.
Beyond gaming, I enjoy reading, movies, and going on travel adventures with my lovely wife. Together we spent three years living in an airstream trailer while traveling America, and then two years living in and exploring Japan. I try to live a life of constant curiosity and adventure so as to always be adding to my inventory of inspiration and knowledge for my creative efforts.
